Bait and Switch

I order two pairs of earring during a buy one get 75% off sale. I never received the one pair.

My order said the entire time in process. When i called to find out when I'd receive my other item they said it was out of stock. Apparently they said an email was sent the same day saying they cancelled the item off my order...i never received an email. They would not honor a discount.

I would have never ordered just one set of earrings during that special. I paid full price for one pair of earrings...

Don't go to this store, go somewhere else! Don't waste your money here! Customer service is non-existence

I saw on the Banter website that there was a special sale of piercing earrings for $20 and free piercing if purchasing a pair of piercing earrings. But the store associate told me she had no idea about the special.

Her exact words were, 'I don't know who put that there!' so I ended up purchasing the cheapest pair of piercing earrings that cost $50. But then she added 2 years of warranty and cleaning solution to the sale and said that those were mandatory even though I said we did not need the warranty nor the solution.

I ended up paying $80 for earlobe piercing that would have only been $20 from looking at the website. This is not right; it is bait and switch, so I will definitely not recommend this store to anyone and will leave warning reviews for others who are looking for places to get simple earlobe piercing.

BUYER BEWARE Product fell apart within a month, the beads just fall while walking even though the chain is unbroken? For gold jewelry this is crazy, I don't know how physically they even made a product so poorly...

Customer service told me to get lost. They are owned by signet the place is a scam.

Don’t waste your money here

Horrible experience horrible customer service care. I havent received my order and first they tell me its still on the way and I had to give them the tracking information which I thought the company would already have that information.

Ive sent pic saying my package delivered somewhere but Im unfamiliar. They still didnt help me resolve my issue. Im still trying to figure it out myself.

I was told to wait 15 -20 days. This company dont care about there customers do not order anything from them.

I had such a great experience with Ricky at Banter in Grand Central Mall! He was incredibly friendly and super helpful.

Ricky went above and beyond by letting us see what the charm we were buying looked like on his own necklace to help us visualize how it would look for the person we were gifting it to. That personal touch really made a difference.

He was so personable and genuine excellent customer service all around! Highly recommend asking for Ricky if youre shopping at Banter.

Poor product quality, and when you try to return an item, they tell you they dont have the products in stock. When you come back later, they say the warranty has already expired. Very disappointing experience.

My son purchased a bracelet for me for my birthday. The end of January the bracelet broke the end of March.

It was a 10 karat gold link bracelet. He reached out to Banter in April to see if he can get an exchange. The customer service rep told him that he did not purchase the warranty so they cannot help them. I reached out to customer service today and was told that they cannot help me and then they will give me a 10% discount to purchase another one.

I explained that the bracelet broke before the 90 days and they should exchange it for a new one. I could not speak to a real person I was just told to chat on the text. I feel that banter offers low quality merchandise and then tries to get you to buy the warranty to pay for the repairs on their low, poor quality merchandise. This is a rip off.

They are not helpful at all. I will never buy from them again and I will let my friends know as well.

Purchased a piece in February and by April it fell apart. Given the price, I fully expected a replacement from this reputable company.

No, I was told they only have a 30 day return policy even for defective items. Banter only guarantees their product for 30 days. That is an absolutely atrocious policy. I asked to speak with someone else who could explain why this policy exists and why they dont back their product and the CSR refused to transfer me.

I have pictures of the item and they did not even ask for them or try to work with me. The quality of their products are not what they claim to be and their prices should be in line with that of costume jewelry if it will only last for 2 months.

Terrible customer service by banter

I ordered an item from them on June 16. The item was ordered with their expedited shipping service.

When I checked the tracking, it said the item would be delivered on June 20th. Here it is June 23rd and still nothing. Numerous calls to customer service and absolutely no help from these people. After all this trouble, I find out I paid for expedited shipping and they actually shipped it with the much slower free service.

I called up customer service to complain and the lady was going to try and overtalk me and insist that it was shipped with expedited service. I told her she was lying. I contacted UPS and gave them the tracking number, and they said it was not shipped expedited. After I proved her wrong, she refunded me my shipping charge.

Bottom line, I'm done with this company.

After they receive their item back and my money is refunded, I'm going to close this worthless credit card account. Banter online does not respect customers and has no clue on how to provide good customer service.

I ordered two anklets for my girlfriend and only received one. After contacting customer service, they told me they checked camera footage, and it was packaged while we didn't receive it.

I didn't want a refund, simply for the item to be reshipped.

Customer service refused to reship, and a refund is horrible customer service. Don't buy here.

Hi everyone, I just want to say I been buying jewelry from Banter for years and my jewelry is still in great condition. I purchase all my chains from banter and my pendants.

I cant complain at all. I just purchased a 14k gold plated diamond chain for my husband. He wears it everyday and the diamonds are still in place. Hes loves, loves, LOVES his chain lol.

My husband recently purchased 14k gold diamond earrings and cute little dainty 14k gold chain and a diamond cross pendant for our daughter and its so cute on her. We just want to say Thank You Banter and we higher recommend.

I purchased a beautiful gold chain and cross from Banter on 4/6. However, after purchasing, I found out that the other grandmother had also purchased her a cross for her graduation.

I've never heard of Banter until the day I saw them in the mall. I was very concerned about a refund since I had paid in cash.

I didn't have to worry. I received it within 9 days.

My mom and I have bought from Banter a few times, but our latest purchase a 10k gold bracelet broke within 90 days of normal use. I reached out to customer service hoping for a simple exchange or solution, but instead was met with a rude representative who actually cursed at me during the live chat. I sent a review 2 weeks ago and I tried to edit the review, but was unable to do so. I wanted to change my review.

I purchased a necklace and cross on 4/6. The gift was for my granddaughter's upcoming graduation. Afterwards, I found the other grandmother had done the same. On 4/7, I returned to the kiosk at Columbiana Center, Columbia SC.

I had read some negative reviews and I was concerned about a possible refund issue. I had paid cash for the items, and was concerned there would be a problem. The cashier told me they didn't have that much money in the register, so I'd have to receive a check instead. She said I'd have it within 10days to 3 weeks.

I got a full refund in 9 days. Very easy refund process in my situation. Cashier was an absolute doll. She made my experience a very good one.

I even sent a positive recommendation to their corporate office informing them of the girl's name. She needed to be recognized for her service. I have read some of the negative reviews of customer service. I must be one of the few that actually had a pleasant experience.

I was so impressed by the service, I hugged the cashier when I purchased it and when I returned it. Guess I hit the jackpot with a positive experience.
